Incept has no passwords. You sign in with something you already have, in one of two ways.
Social sign-in
Connect with a Telegram or Google account you already have. This is the fastest way in if you are new.
Connect a Web3 wallet
Connect your wallet and sign a short message to prove it is yours. That message is your login.
Connecting is safe:
- No gas. Signing a message is free and nothing is sent to the blockchain.
- No transaction. Connecting creates no transaction and moves nothing.
- No spending power. Connecting gives Incept no ability to touch your funds.
Incept will never ask for your private key or your seed phrase. Signing a message is the only thing your wallet is ever asked to do. If anything asks for more, it is not Incept.
Each method is its own account
The first time you use a new sign-in method, a separate Incept account is created. Each has its own balance, its own XP, and its own history.
Pick one method and stick with it. Signing in a different way will not show
you the XP or the backs from your other account, because it is not the same
account.
