XP is the currency for everything on Incept. Stakes, pools, payouts, and fees are all counted in XP.

Your three numbers

What you can actually stake right now is your available balance:
Placing a back locks XP rather than spending it. Your balance does not drop the moment you back, your locked figure goes up instead. The stake is only settled when the round finishes.

Two kinds of XP

  • Wallet XP comes from deposits and from winning. You can withdraw it.
  • Bonus XP comes from Daily Check-in. You can back with it exactly like any other XP, but you cannot withdraw it.
Bonus XP exists so free starting credit cannot simply be cashed straight back out. It is tracked separately from the start, so it never leaks out through a withdrawal.

Linking a wallet

Linking a wallet proves you control an address. You sign a short message, and that is all.
  • It costs no gas and creates no transaction.
  • Linking gives Incept no ability to move your funds.
  • Incept never asks for your private key or seed phrase.
